Esther Dankwah, Olympian and founder of the Esther Dankwah Foundation, brings both personal experience and professional dedication to this mission.
A former Ghanaian Olympian, athletic coach, and survivor of childhood sexual abuse, Esther has served as an athletics trainer and coach at Haag Atletiek since 2009, and in March 2019 set the Netherlands World Record in the 60m indoor athletics category. As a survivor of childhood abuse and a World Record-holding athlete, she is committed to creating safe spaces where children can heal, grow, and reach their full potential. Her story is the foundation's story — and it continues with every child we serve.
